Francesco Dezio was born in Altamura in 1970 and began his career as a writer, publishing the novel 'Nicola Rubino is Entering the Factory' with Feltrinelli in 2004. However, he has always nurtured a passion for painting and drawing, which he deepened by participating in a publishing workshop led by Riccardo Falcinelli in 2014. Since then, he has pursued a path in illustration, collaborating with various prominent publishers. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Italy and abroad, garnering great interest and appreciation from many international collectors, who have acquired them to enrich their prestigious collections.
His artistic style is the result of a bold and creative blend of influences from various painting movements. It is permeated with irony, subtle eroticism, and a dreamlike feeling that draws the viewer's creativity into parallel worlds. His style traverses realism, hyperrealism, figurative art, and abstraction, with a touch of pop-surrealist citation and disrupted realism, one of the most recent artistic currents that challenge conventions.
