Description from the seller
Citroën DS 20 Pallas Semi-Automatic from 1971—a real mouthful indeed. What you see here is exactly how many people like to see it: a beautiful, understated gold color that highlights the lines of the DS, combined with a chocolate brown leather interior, still featuring the original interior and with a mileage of only 88,133 kilometers.
Technology:
Equipped with the powerful and rare carburetor engine, this DS 20 not only delivers impressive performance but also offers exceptionally smooth and comfortable driving. The famous hydropneumatic suspension provides an almost floating driving sensation, making a ride in this Citroën a unique and unforgettable experience. It is no coincidence that this car is considered one of the most iconic models of the 20th century.
The 2.1-liter four-cylinder engine is paired with a semi-automatic transmission with four gears. The engine delivers 106 hp. The transmission also functions as it should and contributes to the unparalleled luxury driving experience of the DS. The brakes are well-calibrated for their task.
Exterior
The Pallas version adds an extra dimension of luxury and style, with high-quality materials and comfort options that make the DS 20 unique in its class. From the soft, spacious interior to the refined details typical of this Pallas version: everything breathes the atmosphere of craftsmanship and French elegance.
This is a restoration project.
The paintwork in various areas needs attention, and there is welding work in the trunk space. The bodywork requires clear welding repairs in several places.
The chrome work looks good.
Interior
The interior is also in used condition; the front seats show clear signs of wear.
The dashboard and instrument panel are complete.
The car has a Dutch license plate and registration certificate.
Just like every DS, this car still hasn't had to sacrifice any of its beauty: what a design!
To get a good impression of the DS, you can make an appointment for a viewing before placing a bid.
Worldwide transportation available at favorable rates.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
