Description from the seller

Old Solo keris / Surakarta kris

Technical details
Size: 47 cm
Wilah (blade): 9 luk, ganjairas
Ganja wilut. Gracefully wavy and inseparable from the blade, hence the name ganjairas.
Dapur: Naga seluman, mythological snake with a 'golden' ball in its mouth
Pamor: PEDARINGAN KEBAK, fine-meshed and complex damask
Warangka (barge): Gayaman, precious Timoho pelet with beautiful color pattern that also continues (visible in the half-open sheath)
Pendok (oversheath): half open oversheath, Blewah polos, messing
Ukiran (hilt): a seamless connection with the blade, beautifully illustrated by the way the lines follow the contours of the (ancestral) figure. A hilt that is inextricably linked to the blade is rather rare. It is only found in ancient Sajen kris.
