Description from the seller

Maria in prayer – plaster – probably Belgium or France – early 20th century

Professionally shipped – more than 850 five-star reviews worldwide.

Large and finely executed Maria sculpture in a subdued prayer pose, made of plaster with original polychromy. The face is softly modeled, and the cloak falls in natural folds, finished with delicate gilding along the edges. The color scheme is typical of church workshop work from the interwar period. At the bottom, the letter M is visible, presumably a mould mark from the workshop that produced this piece.

Height 81 cm, in good condition with signs of use consistent with age and material, including some small paint chips on the hands and cloak, and a slight edge damage at the base.

Please look at the photos carefully, they are part of the description.

Shipped with track & trace.
