Earth 2075 (Galaxy Stamp series) - 2023, Giclée on 300 g cotton paper, edition 24/50, 70 × 50 cm, signed by the artist, excellent condition, origin France, sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
Imagine a world where Earth becomes the crossroads of wonders: superheroes breathe there, extraterrestrials stroll about, and distant galaxies find a familiar glow...
About the series "Galaxy Stamp"
In Galaxy Stamp, Kobalt invents a language that no one speaks — not even himself. An unlikely mixture of Cyrillic in zero gravity and vaguely Asian Martian calligraphy, this writing is supposed to be the most spoken in neighboring galaxies… No need to try translating it: it says nothing, but it says it beautifully. A cosmic wink to a communication from very, very far away — or just from another imagination.

Biography
Kobalt, born in Paris in 1970, embodies the journey of a polymorphic artist whose creativity has evolved from electronic music to contemporary graphic art. Coming from a family where art was already present through his father, a draftsman, Kobalt discovered his first passion at a very young age: musical creation. This passion guided him in his youth, and his early talents led him to make a bold decision: to invest the money intended to finance his higher education into creating his first album.
Distributed by EMI, the album does not meet the expected success, but it marks the beginning of an artistic career rich in experimentation.
Alongside his musical career, Kobalt is involved in the advertising world as a designer/writer for the iconic magazine Playboy. For many years, he has dedicated his creativity to the publication by creating and producing the magazine's advertising campaigns.
His career took a turn in 2005 when he became a cameraman, exploring a new facet of the visual world. In 2007, he discovered a passion for photography, adding another artistic skill to his repertoire. In 2010, he successfully founded his own photo agency, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2017, Kobalt made a bold decision to sell his agency to fully embrace graphic art, influenced by his son, who has become a major figure in global street art. A pioneer in computer-assisted artistic creation, Kobalt stands out with over 2,000 works sold in galleries and online to date.
His artistic approach is characterized by bold use of humor, provocation, and anachronisms, with a particular penchant for the subversion of magazine covers, a style that makes him instantly recognizable.
Despite the digital age, Kobalt has chosen to stay on the sidelines of social networks, thus preserving a certain intimacy. Today, he uses all available digital tools to bring his creations to life, continuing to push the boundaries of artistic expression with a subtle blend of inspiration, innovation, and humor.
