Minetta Miniaturkamera Subminiature camera

A miniature camera by "Minetta" – a hip-mounted camera. Tested and fully functional. The camera is in good condition with signs of use. See photos.

These cameras, also known as "Hit" cameras, were introduced in Japan in the late 1930s and enjoyed great popularity after the war.

They used a special 17.5 mm wide film, which was half the width of the standard 35 mm film.

“Minetta” was one of many companies that manufactured such miniature cameras.

These cameras were typically collector's items and not intended for everyday use.
It is tested and fully functional.
The lenses are free of scratches; the inside looks clean.
