Limburg Glashütte - Wall lamp (2) - Frozen glass - 42 cm long

Dear Bidders, I'm offering here a set of 2 wall lamps made by Limburg Glashütte, which are in a good vintage condition. These vintage wall lights were made by Glashütte Limburg, a German manufacturer renowned for its high-quality architectural glass lighting. The fixtures feature thick, textured ice-glass diffusers characteristic of Limburg’s mid-century and 1970s production, designed to create soft, atmospheric illumination. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Glashütte Limburg, founded in 1947 in the town of Limburg an der Lahn, became known for its craftsmanship in cast and molded glass, supplying both residential and public interiors across Europe. Their designs are now sought after for their sculptural forms, durability, and timeless modernist aesthetic. SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Made in Germany by Limburg Glashütte in ´70 * Materials: frozen glass ( very solid - ca.2.2 kg / each ), metal * Similar to J.T. Kalmar or Hillebrand lamps * Measurements: approx. 42x10x9 cm * Please watch all the pictures, they are also a part of description * I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, cracks, dents, patina, chips etc. Any major damage is always shown in the photos. * Please remember about Catawiki’s rules and make a payment maximally within 3 days after auction end The vases will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€). IMPORTANT: If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment. Please don’t bid if you don’t accept that. Happy bidding and good luck! ***Condition categories according to Catawiki:*** * „as new” - unused * „excellent condition” - barely used with minimal signs of wear / usage * „good condition” - used with small signs of aging * „fair condition” - heavily used with possibly minor damage / parts missing * „poor” - heavily used with major cracks, damages and / or major parts missing * „very poor” - showing significant decay, loss of original texture or solidity of the material
