Description from the seller

Antique armchair – Empire/Biedermeier style – circa 1820-1850

Elegant characterful armchair with an authentic appearance. The chair is made of solid wood with a beautifully carved back medallion and an original, hand-woven wicker seat.

The design – with a curved backrest, subtle armrests, and light sabre-shaped legs – reflects the atmosphere of the Empire and early Biedermeier period (circa 1820-1850). The chair displays a beautiful patina, with an original green finish.

A special object that works well in both a classic interior and a modern contrast decor. Perfect as a statement piece in a hall or as a stylish accent in a living room.

Condition: used, with signs of age and wear that contribute to its character. Sturdy and decorative.
