Ancient Roman glass amulet made in the early first millennium BC around the decline of Roman Republic Period and the beginning of Roman Empire. It's a rare type of jewellery depicting an intricately carved avian form with highlighted characteristic parts of a bird's body such as a pointed beak, gently rounded belly, and distinct tail. Ornament has undergone a professional clearing process to highlight its beautiful vibrant blue glass surface. In the middle it has a drilled hole for suspension so it can be worn as a pendant. Artifact includes Certificate Of Authenticity document (lifetime authenticity warranty) and jewelry strap for suspension.
