Zonca Lighting wall lamp with a patinated brass frame, mirrored back panel and silk textile shades, 2 fittings, dimensions 68 cm high by 48 cm wide by 45 cm deep, made in Italy circa 1990–2000, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
This distinctive wall lamp is attributed to Zonca Lighting — a piece originally created for exclusive hospitality interiors, including the well-known Buddha Bars and other architecturally significant venues.
Luxury craftsmanship & exclusive design — Zonca Lighting has long been dedicated to creating “lighting dreams”, where illumination is not only functional but also a matter of ambience, atmosphere, and refined style.
Premium materiality — The lamp features a patinated brass structure, a mirrored back panel, and textile shades, detailed with silk cord wrapping and tassel trims. This blend enriches both its visual and tactile presence — an excellent example of how hand-crafted luxury enhances contemporary interiors.
Exclusive production — Pieces made for the Buddha Bars were likely limited, custom-commissioned items, not mass-produced lighting, which contributes to the rarity and collectible value of the lamp.
Style & mood — Combining elements of Art Deco glamour with modern luxury, it emits a warm, atmospheric light. The patinated brass, mirror, and textile shades together create the boutique-hotel / high-end lounge ambience these places are known for.
Zonca Lighting has over a century of history: originally a small artisanal lighting workshop, the company evolved through innovation and design into a manufacturer of tailor-made, premium fixtures for exclusive interiors.
This piece can once again be found in the Etro company's collection today.
