16th-century brass socket candlestick – Netherlandish

A rare late 16th-century brass candlestick with a flared, bell-shaped base and pierced socket. The bold, practical form is characteristic of early 16th-century lighting design in the Low Countries, where brass objects for daily use were skillfully cast with functional yet elegant proportions.

Condition:
Good condition considering age. Losses and dents to the lower rim, surface wear, oxidation, and patina throughout. Please refer to photos for a fuller impression.
