Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Antique noble seal dating to 1900–1910, made of wood, iron and brass with a turned wooden handle and a bronze/brass engraved plaque bearing an imperial heraldic motif, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Magnificent vintage stamp, created between the late 19th century and the early 20th century, most likely belonging to a civic-administrative office from the German or Austro-Hungarian area. The matrix bears an elegant heraldic coat of arms composed of:
The double-headed imperial eagle at the top, the official symbol of the Empire's administration.
A fortified gate with towers, a recurring element in the coats of arms of German and Central European cities of that era.
The stamp features a beautiful turned wooden handle with a splendid patina of time, and a bronze/brass plate engraved and fixed with three original nails. The sturdy construction and the quality of the engraving reveal an object designed for institutional use, not private.
A piece of great historical charm, ideal for collectors of heraldry, vintage office tools, objects from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, or memorabilia.
Please note that the data may contain defects, breaks, or omissions.
Therefore, I recommend a careful review of the photos.
The shipment will be express and well packed with signature upon arrival.
