Gold meteorite nuggets from the Guelb Ndour Tiris Zemmour region in Mauritania; three pieces totaling 0.780 g.
Description from the seller
Discovery zone
23°33’ North
08°06’ West
These nuggets come from the desert region of Tiris Zemmour in northern Mauritania, more than a hundred kilometers from an area called Guelb Ndour.
Gold mining in this country was reserved only for a large industrial company.
But since 2016, individual exploitation has been authorized through the use of metal detectors.
I propose them as I discovered them; I only cleaned them with soapy water.
The gold from this region is quite pure; generally, its purity ranges from 950 to 980 thousandths, which corresponds to 22.80 to 23.50 carats.
Although gold mining has become one of Mauritania's primary resources, nuggets are quite rare because almost all of the gold is melted into bars that are then sent to Dubai.
All photos are taken in natural daylight.
I photographed these gems as sincerely and precisely as possible using daylight.
Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting may result in variations in perceived color, saturation, and tones.
The nuggets you will receive are of course the ones in the photos.
I send a secure and discreet quick shipment in a tear-proof C5 envelope (162mm x 229mm) via French La Poste registered mail.
