They represent two saintly monks with halos, holding the Gospels and giving a blessing.
Reversed decorated crosses: one bears an inscription in Cyrillic identifying Saint Mitrophane of Voronezh, the other a cross of Golgotha with the instruments of the Passion (IC XC).
