These ruby crystals (corundum) originate from Mauritania (Tiris Zemmour region), about 100 km northeast of the city of Zouerate.
231 karat raw ruby crystals, untreated
All photos are taken under natural daylight.
For some of them, I placed the rubies near a light source, such as my phone's flashlight or a lamp.
To demonstrate the characteristic strong fluorescence reaction of corundum (rubies and sapphires) under ultraviolet light, I additionally illuminated this ruby with a small lamp that emits ultraviolet light.
In some photos, the entire crystal or parts of the entire crystal are visible; however, there is at least one individual photo of each ruby crystal.
I photographed these jewels in daylight as openly and precisely as possible.
Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can lead to variations in perceived color, saturation, and tone.
The rubies you receive are naturally the ones shown in the photos.
