BIO – Pietro Pancotto (WORDSANDCOLORS)
Pietro Pancotto, known as WORDSANDCOLORS, is an Italian artist who explores the fluid boundary between word and image, transforming language into visual matter. His work arises from the intersection of collage, painting, and writing, in a process where fragments, signs, and colors become intimate, symbolic narratives often suspended between memory and perception.
His work operates in a hybrid space: words are used as emotional bridges, as keys that unlock meanings, while images do not illustrate but suggest. In each piece, a constant poetic tension is perceived: what is said and what is left unsaid coexist, creating a silent dialogue in which the viewer is invited to complete the story.
WORDSANDCOLORS is an artistic project born to give back to creativity its purest freedom: a place where abstraction meets literature, where memories become textures, and where emotion takes shape through material and visual layering.
Pancotto's approach combines aesthetic sensitivity and craftsmanship: every detail is designed to create a strong presence, capable of transforming the atmosphere of a space.
His works have been appreciated for their ability to combine contemporary sensitivity and personal research, evoke immediate emotions, and transform each canvas into a contemplative and narrative experience at the same time.
With WORDSANDCOLORS, Pietro Pancotto advances a vision of art as visual poetry, as an intimate and revolutionary space where color, words, and thought merge into a single voice.
