Revox A-77 two‑track reel‑to‑reel, model Type 77 A - 2 track, S/N G000227, manufactured in 1985, in excellent physical condition and renovated, including power cord, original user manual and an extra object; tested and working.
Description from the seller
REVOX A-77 two-track (case model)
Robust A-77 two-track machine with built-in amplifiers and speakers for on-location studio recordings. It features a plexiglass dust cover hanging on the edge of a (self-assembled) removable plastic panel. Supplied with Maxwell tape and Akai NAB adapters, as shown. These adapters clamp better and are maintenance-free (no rubber clamp rings like the original Revox adapters). Comes with the original Revox manual. The full reel is loaded with recently recorded CDs by Piet Veerman of The Cats.
The entire unit is in very good condition, both technically and visually. No signs of use. This certainly also applies to the large plexiglass dust cover (as new). The machine was recently (August 2025) inspected by a professional. Additionally, about five critical components and the timing belt of the band counter were replaced (invoice available for review). The drive mechanism and heads have been cleaned and demagnetized. A frequency graph of the heads at a tape speed of 9.5 cm/sec is available. The machine is ready for demonstration. Audio playback can also be heard via line-out through a high-quality audio system with multiple speakers and a subwoofer. The photos are exclusively of this machine. Due to weight and risk of damage, it is not shipped. Who will make a fair offer based on its value?
