Description from the seller
This double-faced jacquard fabric reveals extraordinary decorative complexity, characterized by a rich floral pattern inspired by the East that develops continuously across the entire surface. The design is dominated by elegant stylized flowers, probably peonies or lotus flowers, emerging with their petals intricately textured and almost three-dimensional. These floral elements are connected by sinuous stems and intertwining branches, creating a very dynamic upward movement, accompanied by elongated, curved leaves with finely worked veins. Among the main elements are decorative scrolls and spiral motifs that further enrich the composition, filling the spaces with great harmony.
The peculiarity of this fabric lies in its double-faced nature, offering two chromatic interpretations of the same pattern. The first side features a background in shades of turquoise-blue, with the main flowers standing out in a warm brick or terracotta red, while linear details and outlines are rendered in beige and cream tones. The second side, on the other hand, shows an inversion or a different distribution of colors, with a predominance of warmer tones that create a completely different effect, where the turquoise-green becomes itself a decorative element.
The jacquard weaving gives the fabric remarkable relief and depth, with an iridescent effect created by the different directions of the threads that capture light in various ways. Its tactile and visual richness makes it a highly valuable material, perfect for high-quality applications in interior design or fashion.
