Very beautiful Caucasian Kazak rug, entirely hand-knotted in wool on a cotton warp.

This model features a central geometric medallion, surrounded by traditional motifs: eight-pointed stars, stylized crosses, protective shapes, and angular ornaments typical of the Caucasian regions.

The palette — deep red, night violet/blue, yellow, and ivory — offers a strong and vibrant contrast.
The multiple borders, richly decorated with repetitive motifs, reinforce the authentic character of the rug.

The wool velvet is dense and shiny, with a neat and regular nap visible on the back. The rug is generally in good condition, although it shows some localized wear (see last photo), with no major impact on its structure or use.
