Description from the seller
Anutosh (1970) is a Dutch artist who focuses on exploring textures, shapes, and colors in his painting. His work encompasses a variety of techniques, often combining materials such as acrylic and oil paint to create complex, layered images. His paintings have a contemporary and sometimes surrealist style that seeks a balance between beauty and a sense of foreboding.
In this work, Anutosh presents a winter, almost dreamlike landscape in which snow-covered pines and simple huts blend into a serene yet ominous setting. The soft, flowing brushstrokes in the sky contrast with the sharp forms of the trees, creating an atmosphere that feels both hushed and charged. Through the subtle color transitions and the dramatic light, the painting evokes a sense of desolation and mystery, as if the viewer is witnessing a moment in a quiet world that is on the brink of change.
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
