Description from the seller

Jonas Design pipes belong to the production of an independent Italian artisan, Jonas Bianca, active between 1966 and 1990, characterized by completely manual craftsmanship and inspired by the Nordic 'freehand classico' style, but reinterpreted with Italian taste.

The Jonas brand is not linked to a large factory but to an independent artisan from northern Italy, known for small numbered series made with:
aged root
full figures
mouthpieces in worked ebonite
Decorative inserts in bone or synthetic ivory.
These pipes were not widely available in tobacconists, but were mainly sold through private commissions.
Today, they are sought after because they are rare and little documented, and they have a good market among collectors of Italian handcrafted pipes of lesser-known brands but of excellent quality.
