Description
The PL-12D motor drives the plate not through a problematic tension roller system but via the proven Pioneer belt transmission, eliminating vibrations and motor reverberations while simultaneously improving the overall signal-to-noise ratio.
The belt, made of durable polyurethane, significantly resists temperature fluctuations and aging.
The 4-pole synchronous motor offers an extremely precise and stable speed and rotates practically without vibrations.

To keep the needle perfectly aligned with the center of the groove of the record, a specially developed spring-loaded anti-skating device is present, whose purpose is to ensure precise channel separation during stereo record playback.
