Description from the seller
Two ceramic wall plates with hanging cords from around 1900-1910. The plates were made by Sarreguemines, a well-known French manufacturer of ceramics and porcelain. Dimensions are 33 cm wide and 27 cm high.
The wall boards are marked and have a serial number on the back (serial number 3465). It also states on the back 'D.R.P. Breveté S.G.D.G.', a French patent protection from the early twentieth century without state guarantee, common around 1900-1910.
The edges of the wall plaques are glazed in deep blue with a gold-colored line. The center features a detailed cityscape with a light relief structure, hand-colored. The plaques depict a hand-colored, printed view of the city of Namur in Belgium, with both displaying the recognizable image of the citadel. The scenes are titled:
Pont de Jambes with Citadelle

The condition is in good shape, considering the age. Some small glaze hairline cracks and light wear on the edges, see the photos.
