Beautiful and authentic piece of Burmese amber (Myanmar) containing a remarkably well-preserved Cretaceous fly (Order Diptera). The specimen shows excellent detail, including transparent wings with clearly visible venation, a well-defined thorax and abdomen, and slender legs preserved in natural position.
The amber has a warm golden-honey color with very high transparency, offering outstanding visibility of the inclusion.
