An oil lamp is used to produce light continuously using an oil-based fuel source. The use of oil lamps began thousands of years ago and continues to this day.
Moldmade from plaster mold. Ring handle. Shoulder separated from discus by a ridge and two inner circles. Heart-shaped nozzle. The discus features an antelope.
Provenance: Purchased by the current owner to a Spanish private collector (P. T.; 1980s).
