Description from the seller

A figurine of a rider holding a lance with a blade dulled by time. However, the presence of prominent breasts and braided hair may suggest an 'amazon.'
The horse is small because the peoples of the Inner Niger Delta raised and rode ponies before the arrival of Arab horses, which followed the region's conquest by the Fulani.
Beautiful patina from use.
