Description from the seller
Nikon FE Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 35mm reflex camera
DESCRIPTION
The Nikon FE is a 35mm SLR camera introduced by Nikon in 1978.
It is a manual focus camera with an electronic shutter that includes an exposure program with aperture priority. It also features exposure lock, exposure compensation in program mode, and a mechanical speed of 1/90 second that operates without batteries.
The Nikon FE is compatible with virtually any Nikkor lens manufactured after 1959, including non-AI lenses with an F mount through the tab built into the camera mount. It is the only Nikon camera that includes this option.
The goal is the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 standard. The auction includes the lens cap, rubber eyepiece, original strap, and the Nikon AR-I auxiliary shutter. Batteries are not included. The camera uses two SR44 silver oxide batteries or equivalent.
STATE
The camera has been tested and is in good working condition.
The object is in excellent condition, with no marks, scratches, mold, dust, separation, or any other defects. The multilayer coating is flawless.
The exposure program, focus, light meter, and film advance are functioning correctly.
All shutter speeds work. However, sometimes the shutter gets stuck when using the 1/1000 speed. To unlock it, you need to use the M90 speed. Keep this in mind when placing your bid.
The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are barely minimal signs of use, difficult to see.
See the photographs, which are part of the description, for a complete detail of the camera's cosmetic condition.
