Kodak Petite blue camera, model Petite colour blue, tested and working, in good vintage condition, for 127 film.
Description from the seller
Offered: Charming Blue Kodak Petite camera, a beloved model designed in the late 1920s. The design features a colorful art-deco character. The blue (as well as other colors) version is sought after by collectors of historical photography.
Important
The folding mechanism partially moves over the guide rail (see photo 10). To prevent damage to the mechanism, this camera is not folded for shipping.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, age-related signs appropriate for a nearly hundred-year-old piece.
Shutter works and bellows are in reasonable condition. Diaphragm adjustable in 4 settings.
A beautiful collectible object or decorative piece with character.
An essential part of the appeal of the Petite was its innovative 'autographic' feature, which allowed users to write a few words directly on the film through a small opening at the back—without a metal pen, which was missing. After developing the film, the written text became visible, adding a unique and personal touch to the photos taken. This special feature significantly contributed to the popularity of the Petite and set it apart from other vintage cameras.
