Perfect gift for a loved one!
This is one of the cameras in my personal collection.

Body: Minolta SR-T Super (CLC)
Released in the early 1970s, the Minolta SR-T Super stands as one of the most complete and refined models of the entire SR-T series. Known for its durability, mechanical precision, and advanced metering system, it quickly became a favorite among photography enthusiasts, students, and working professionals.
The defining feature of the SR-T line — and proudly present on the SR-T Super — is Minolta’s CLC metering system (Contrast Light Compensation). This dual-cell design reads light from two differently positioned CdS sensors, averaging high-contrast scenes in a way that standard meters simply couldn’t. It was Minolta’s answer to challenging lighting, and it remained a major selling point throughout the 1970s.
Shutter: Horizontal-travel cloth focal-plane
Speeds: 1s – 1/1000s + Bulb
Metering: TTL CLC metering with match-needle display
Exposure: Fully mechanical operation; meter powered only by battery
Lens Mount: Minolta SR bayonet (compatible with SR, MC, and MD lenses)
Flash Sync: 1/60s via PC port + hot shoe
Viewfinder: Bright prism with central microprism collar
Body Construction: Solid metal chassis with black enamel finish
The SR-T Super is built like a precision instrument — heavy, reliable, and remarkably smooth to operate. The film advance is firm and well-geared, the shutter release is crisp, and the viewfinder is one of the clearest of the pre-electronic SLR era.
This camera represents Minolta’s golden age: a perfect blend of engineering honesty, mechanical robustness, and practical usability.
Lens: Minolta Auto Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.8
A true classic of Minolta’s optical catalog, the Auto Rokkor-PF 55mm f/1.8 is one of the most beloved prime lenses in the SR system. The “PF” designation stands for 6 elements in 5 groups, a design known for its excellent sharpness, rich microcontrast, and gentle, organic rendering.
Focal Length: 55mm
Maximum Aperture: f/1.8
Optical Formula: 6 elements in 5 groups
Aperture Blades: 6
Minimum Focus Distance: ~0.55 m
Filter Thread: 55mm
Coating: Early Minolta multicoating (beautiful green/amber hue)
Mount: Minolta SR (Auto Rokkor series)
The 55mm f/1.8 produces:
Exceptional sharpness from wide open
Warm, rich Minolta color reproduction
High microcontrast — excellent for black & white
Smooth bokeh with classic Minolta character
Minimal distortion and natural perspective
It is widely regarded as one of the most underrated vintage primes, often outperforming faster lenses in tonal clarity and rendering style. Paired with the SR-T Super, it becomes an ideal everyday lens for portraits, street, and general photography.
Condition
The camera body is in excellent working condition: shutter speeds fire correctly and the advance lever is smooth. The black enamel shows minimal wear for its age.
The Auto Rokkor 55mm f/1.8 lens glass is clear, with no haze or fungus. Aperture blades are snappy and oil-free. Coatings retain their beautiful deep color.
Photographed in natural light to highlight the clarity of the glass and the crisp lines of the camera body. This set has been carefully stored in my collection and remains fully usable.
I feel it's time to find her a new home with someone that can take care of her and put her to good use.
The shipping will be done by courier, with the best protective packaging, insurance and a tracking code, as I would do for myself.
Thank you.
Happy holidays and happy treasure hunting!
