Description from the seller

Original abstract gelatin silver print* - photogram** - exposed in the darkroom.

Ros Khavro, 2024
Edition: 3/20
Signed and numbered by artist on recto (in front)
Total dimensions: 37.5 x 27.5cm (thin: 4mm)
Print: 20 x 11cm

Placed in passe-partout, with protective glass (2mm) - ready and easy to frame.

GELATIN SILVER PRINT
* Print was made in the darkroom under an enlarger on old photographic paper Fotonbrom (Baryta - matt) from the 80's. Slightly warm toned, treated for archival permanence, air-dried and heat-pressed.* (The gelatin silver process is the basic chemical process used in black and white photography. The whole process takes place in a photo darkroom and the photo is hand-made by the artist.)

PHOTOGRAM
** (The photogram is an image made without a camera by placing an object directly on to the surface of a light-sensitive material and then exposing it to light. Since the dawn of photography it has been explored by practitioners such as Henry Talbot, Man Ray, László Moholy-Nagy (p. e.), keen to expand the boundaries of representation.)
