A large and highly-detailed by-chrome, portrait, stirrup vessel of tremendous realism showing a Moche warrior or cazique with open almond eyes, aquiline nose, and serious face. With elaborate hairdress decorated with geometric patterns (circles and squares ) in the headress. Very fine example. Includes thermoluminescence certificate. | Moche. Peru. 400-700 A.D. Dimensions: 31,50 cm. Condition: Some surface wear. Small chip on the mouth of the spout. Restored on the base of the stirrup handle. Good condition. Provenance: Spanish Private Collection. By descent from familly collection since 1970's. Notes: - The piece includes authenticity certificate. - The piece includes spanish export license. - If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months. According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the buyer's expense.
