Champion - Desk lamp - Iron

This mid-century lamp embodies the typical industrial charm of the 1950s–60s. Its body consists of a hemispherical metal shade in a subtly speckled, greenish-gray paint, showing clear signs of use and thus emphasizing its authentic vintage character. The shade sits on a curved metal arm, designed to be functional and unadorned — very much in line with the modern design language of that era.

The massive, round metal base gives the lamp stability and also bears a small type plate, reminiscent of classic workshop or desk lamps. The targeted light cone creates a soft, elliptical light pattern on the wall, reminiscent of optical effects from old glass reflectors.

Overall, the lamp appears sturdy, functional, and at the same time elegant – a beautiful example of functional design from the Mid-Century era that perfectly complements the Bauhaus book beside it.
