Antique 4/4 violin labelled Albani, manufactured in 1715, in good condition and ready to play, with a wooden body, weight about 0.5 kg, and no extras included.

You are bidding on a very fine and rare antique 4/4 violin. The instrument is in ready to play condition with some small old repaired cracks on top. The label says: Josephus filius Matth Albani me fecit Bulsani in Tyroli Anno 1715. The violin has an excellent high to medium grained spruce of the top and one piece back of softly flamed maple wood. The whole length of the violin is 590 mm and the back 359 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 115 mm; lower bouts: 204 mm.
