Very beautiful Renaissance Caryatid carved of wood.
from the late 16th to early 17th century.
The original version is still largely intact.
Probably Venice or the surrounding area.
The sculpture was created directly in Venice in the 1980s.
purchased in the art trade
and should come from a Venetian palace.
In very good condition for its age.
and very expressive with a beautiful patina.

Untouched condition, just a little dusted.
