On the left side panel Saint Ursula with her 1000 maidens. on the right panel Saint gereon and his wariors. When closed a depiction of the Annunciation (the angel Gabriel visiting Mary) also after a painting of Stephan Lochener. On the back a label of the printing house Hangard Mauré of the Arundel Society after a litho from C.Schultz dated 1874/1875. In a contemporary wooden black frame with some small damages. Dimensions: in opened condition: 49 x 104,5 cm. Central panel: 39 x 41,5 cm. Registered shipping The Arundel Society was a 19th-century British organization that reproduced art, often via colorful chromolithographs, and Hangard-Mauré was one of their printers, known for producing these high-quality, specialized prints of Gothic and Renaissance art for members, as can be seen in collections at the British Museum and Bodleian Libraries.
