Osiris Figure with Atef Crown. 664-332 BC.
This bronze figure represents Osiris, the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife, resurrection, and fertility. He is depicted wearing the distinctive Atef crown, characterized by the tall central element flanked by ostrich feathers, symbolizing divine authority and rebirth. The figure embodies the traditional iconography of Osiris, with his serene expression and timeless posture reflecting his role as a benevolent and enduring deity in Egyptian religion.
Provenance: Ex collection Helger Deikner (Westfalia;1983).
