History & Notes:***Under the Treaty of Versailles the number of jewels in a German a military watch was limited (9).  Heer orders for German military watches stipulated 15 jewels.  German manufacturers had to buy movements secretly before Hitler repudiated the treaty, so did not carry any signed names until about 1938.  You should note that German manufactured watches did not carry DH contract issue numbers unlike imported Swiss watches.

This watch is from my WW2 military watch section. Bruchsicher means "Unbreakable" in German and indeed the Para 782S was very rugged indeed.

Please note that in photo #12 the white mark by hour marker 5 is a light reflection!  The lume on watch hands has not been replaced.
