There is a lot of waiting and idle time in the photos by Vojta Dukát, photographer and cineast. By males hanging against fences, women at a fountain or below just hung laundry, by males and females together below bridges or at bar tables. And if there is some activity - Dragging a tree branch, playing an accordion, dancing a waltz - than this always happens with a reserved composure. It is typical for the as reserved as benevolent body of work photographed by Dukát (Brno, 1947) since he lives in The Netherlands out of necessity.
