Classification: Martian meteorite (Shergottite)

Found in northwest Africa, and bought by A. B. Ammro in Algeria in January 2019, has been identified as Sergotita Marciana, following timely studies and analysis. It shows minimal signs of weathering, so it looks fresh and without much ground metamorphism, which increases its scientific value because of the low level of contamination that it suffered while in contact with other materials of our planet.

Although meteorites from Mars are usually very small in size, the specimen we offer is a large sample of this rare meteorite from our sister planet, with an absolutely spectacular crystallized and dark fusion crust. The part of the meteorite that has ochre shades is the area that was under the surface when it was found in that position.

Martian meteorites are the scarcest ones that exist, because of what they represent genuine wonders of the Universe in our hands.

A piece worthy of a high-level museum.

We are members of IMCA (International Meteorites Collectors Association) number # 7412. Buy with warranties.
