Offered is a well functioning and good condition Akai X-150D Crossfield Custom Deck from the year 1969.
The deck is in good technical condition and Play, Record, Wind and Rewind work properly.
You will get the 2 Philips reels with erased tape for free.
The Scotch reel is not part of the sale, this was to test the sound and both VU meters.

The cross-field head created a sensation in the market of tape recorders by enabling a wide recording range which was unheard of on a conventional tape recorder.
The Akai deck has small signs of wear, but those are not disturbing.
