Tom Hopman

This is the edition 06132.
The book is in mint condition, only the slipcase has scratches on the bottom
and dirt (see pictures) and the book cord has a brown stain (photo).
The book has a weight of 34 kg.
The cover of the "Collector's Edition" shows Ali's upper body, on it in pink the title GOAT.
Limited edition of 9,000 numbered copies, individually signed by Muhammad Ali and Jeff Koons
Each "Collector's Edition" is accompanied by Jeff Koons' photo-lithograph "Radial Champs" (50 x 40 cm).
Over 3,000 images from more than 150 photographers and artists - photographs, artworks and memorabilia, many of them never before published. Original essays and the best interviews and texts about Muhammad Ali from the past five decades, by hundreds of authors, in a total of 600,000 words.
XXL format: 792 pages, including two fold-out plates measuring 200 x 50 cm. Nine gold-metallic double pages in screen printing open each chapter. With the dimensions of 50 x 50 cm GOAT weighs 34 kg.
Each copy comes in a silk bound box decorated with Neil Leifer's cult photo from 1966: Ali versus Williams.
Bound by the official bookbindery of the Vatican in pink leather, the colour of Ali's first Cadillac. The bookbindery, which specializes in elaborate, large-format editions of the Bible and the Koran, works to strict quality standards and produces only a few hundred copies per week.
When processing the original photographic material, the most modern repro techniques were used and no expense was spared in order to achieve the best possible results: The colour intensity and colour spectrum are unique, and the duotone images have photographic density.
Eight-colour print on semi-matt paper, Galaxi ceramic (200 g/m²), with gloss varnish on all images.
