Bulova Accutron II watch, perfect condition as per the photos attached. 

"Not everyone knows that Bulova invented the first electric watches: many of these watches are displayed in train stations around the US. The year is 1931. 

On July 1st 1941 Bulova revolutionized the worldwide marketing sector with the very first television advertisement.  Broadcasted at the beginning of Brooklyn Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies match, the ad showed the country outline, with a Bulova watch in the center and the caption "America Runs On Bulova Time".  Price: $9. 

The Bulova watchmaking school welcomed the American youth coming back from Europe and the Pacific, where they had fought had during World War II. The school was located in the company's headquarters in Woodside, Queens.  The free classes at this school were aimed at offering the disabled survivors a means of rehabilitation, in addition to a specialised work formation and specific employment services, which gave them the chance to get back into the society after their great efforts abroad. 

This strong patriotism could not go unnoticed, as well as the remarkable technical quality of the brand. Which is why, in 1958, way before the Accutron technology became available on the market, NASA began to consider making the brand part of their space project, right from the Vanguard 1 satellite, launched into orbit the same year."
