This mask respects the canons of the beauty of the Dan masks, with oval face, curved forehead, mouth in oval shape, and pointed chin.

African Dan racing mask from Côte d'Ivoire made of wood and fibres. These masks called zakpei, featuring round and opened eyes, are famous.

Origin: acquired on 04/11/18 at an auction hosted by the ‘Etude de Provence’ auction house in Marseille, lot 417-2.

All Dan masks are sacred, they do not represent the spirits, they are spirits themselves. 

The objects will be shipped with insurance and track & trace.
