Rare Grenadier NCO’s Shako of the 40th Line Infantry Regiment, 1812 Model, First Empire 

Shako plate and chin strap in excellent condition. 
At the back of the Shako’s felt body is a crack a few cm long (visible in the photos) which does not weaken the hat’s structure. 
Varnished leather visor in excellent condition. 
Pom-pom and cockade present.

Diameter: 24 cm
