Silver 2½ Guilder 1842 Kingdom of the Netherlands under Willem II. Literature: Sch. 507. 
Silver grade 945/1000, weight 25 grams, mintage of 909,883. 

The marks of this coin (as well as the one from 1841) were rejected because the ear of Willem II was places too low. The name of engraver Van der Kellen is still written out fully on the cut-off of the neck. From 1843 it was shortened to VDK.
