A fine and massive, self-winding OMEGA SEAMASTER, REF. 176.004, also known as “BIG BLUE" stainless steel chronograph, the ultimate tool watch. Made in 1970s. Original beautifully aged blue dial with original hands, round button chronograph, registers, central minute counter, 24-hour indication, date and stainless steel Omega 1162 link bracelet with deployant clasp. Fully serviced by Omega with official 2 years warranty, until June 2022. The Omega Seamaster Reference 176.004 was the first diver’s automatic chronograph truly water-resistant and functional up to 120 meters / 400 feet underwater.
C. Three-body, brushed, unidirectional revolving graduated bezel for decompression timing, screw-down case back and crown, case back with the Seamaster logo. D. Blue with luminous painted indexes, outer minute divisions with 5-minute/ seconds Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 12-hour recorder, 60-minute register by luminous central orange arrow hand, the 24-hour indication by arrow on a revolving disc, aperture for the date. Luminous white baton hands. M. Cal. 1040, copper-colored, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, selfcompensating fl at balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 44 x 52 mm. Thickness 16 mm. Approx. overall length 185 mm.
Condition: Fair vintage condition 6/10, in fully working order. The case is heavily worn and don’t have anymore original finish. Damages on the bezel. Patina on the dial. See photos. Recently fully serviced by Omega with 24 months official warranty. The warranty does not cover waterproof of the watch. Comes with new Omega travel case, service card and original spare parts (changed by Omega). Still with protective film on the caseback.
