Beautiful plate of Longwy, with birds on cherry blossom. decorated on the inside and hand painted with the famous Emaux des Longwy technique, on the outside decorated in a beautiful blue color with dark blue.
This technique was invented by Amedée de Caranza in 1875. He wanted to create the Persian atmosphere. Now they are collected worldwide.

This plate was created in the 1920s and is signed, marked, and numbered with D.5.670 and F. 3.021. The stamp used also corresponds with the Art Deco period of longwy. See also the attached photos.

condition: good, small restored chip upper edge and small flake at the bottom edge. See the photos.
