Beautiful intact tooth of the extinct large tooth shark; Carcharocles megalodon. This tooth is 10.8 cm long. It was surfaced by a friend who is a diver, in the Atlantic Ocean about 60 km off the coast of South Carolina. The tooth comes from the Miocene and is between 15 and 20 million years old. The tooth is completely original, no restoration. The photos speak for themselves.
