I am offering for auction a superb 20th century oil on board of an alpine landscape, by listed artist Robert Morson Hughes (1873-1953) Signed lower right.

Condition. In good condition. Please view all images for accurate condition. Ready to hang.

Born in Withyham, East Sussex and educated at Sevenoaks. Bertie Hughes as he was known studied at Lambeth School of Art where his teachers included Buxton Knight. He lived in Cornwall for many years. He was known for his alpine landscapes and marine scenes.
