Peter Lorenz born in Erfurt in 1944 , died in 2009 was an author and photographer.
in 1966, he was convicted of vilification of the state due to his critical novels.
During the seventies, he was also active as a photographer and his photos expressed the essence of humanity and an authentic way of life in the DDR.
His first photo book "Shaven Angels" was published by Edition Reuss Munchen in 1999.
